Hi I’m Lisa, and I love to create, whether it is design, drawing or painting, I create every day because I always want to become better tomorrow than I am today.
I’ve been a professional Designer for 35+ years and am an Atlanta native. I recently retired as a Design Director from a Fortune 100 company where I spent 25 years in Design. My company provides two services, Design Consulting and Oil Painting.
The subject matter I am attracted to paint varies widely, from people, animals, architecture, flowers, landscapes, beverages and more. I don’t intend to narrow the focus, the variety continually challenges me. I strive to find subject matter that captures moments with unique lighting, shadows, reflections and emotion. A great painting relies on great photo references. I can work from shots taken by others and often take my own as I have learned what translates to the canvas most effectively.
